On Site is an artist group founded in 2001 and are currently involved in a long-term project focusing on the Kings Cross redevelopment by P&O Developments. The area between Pentonville Road, York Way, Caledonian Road and Wharfdale Road is not only one of the last areas of Central London to be redeveloped, but Kings Cross is also one of the largest areas of urban regeneration and development in Europe.

The On Site Artist Group is affiliated with Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. The group has amongst themselves a wide range of expertise that will come to the fore in the On Site project.

Each of the 17 artists is developing artworks that are an enquiry into the radically changing social and built environment. 'First Site' is the title of the first of two public exhibitions, showing works and projects that form a response to the redevelopment of the Kings Cross area. On Site are going to install a range of artworks in a range of media. Some fragile others robust, some hidden and others theatrical but all of which share the purpose of critical enquiry with regard to the process of urban regeneration in Kings Cross.

In addition to exhibitions, On Site is involved in local events, artist-talks and artist-led workshops with resident community groups. For further information please contact the On Site Coordinator Corinna Boughton at onsite@corinnaboughton.com .
